Description
Dammar gum is a resin obtained from the Dipterocarpaceae family of trees in India and East Asia.
It has a pale, yellow colour and when burned, emits a light lemony scent. For a mild, woodsy fragrance, boil a small amount in water.
Resins can be burned directly on charcoal or on electric bakhoor burners. However, burning on an electric burner (lower temperature than charcoal) will slow down the burning process and prolong the true scent.
Please use caution when using any incense burner. Do not leave unattended.
